The role requires deep ML expertise, strong Python/R skills, and the ability to translate complex results into actionable business insights for senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a quantitative field with 8+ years in data science or analytics.
• Expertise in ML algorithms, statistical modeling, and predictive analytics.
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or R, with large enterprise data.
• Experience deploying models to production and collaborating with engineers.
• Ability to communicate complex results to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and deployment of advanced statistical and machine learning models.
• Act as technical authority for modeling initiatives including fraud detection and risk scoring.
• Develop predictive models using structured and unstructured data from claims and policies.
• Architect modeling pipelines leveraging gradient boosting, NLP, and deep learning.
• Partner with AI Engineering to productionize models in enterprise platforms.
• Design feature engineering strategies and scalable data pipelines.
• Establish best practices for model validation and reproducibility.
• Mentor junior data scientists and translate analytics into business insights.
