The incumbent will drive innovation in AI analytics, work with cross-functional stakeholders, and ensure models align with governance and regulatory standards while delivering measurable business impact.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, CS, Economics, or related field.
• 8–12+ years of data science or analytics experience.
• Deep expertise in machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and predictive analytics.
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages.
• Experience deploying models in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of advanced statistical and ML models to improve claims outcomes, operational efficiency, and risk management.
• Serve as the technical authority for modeling initiatives including fraud detection, claims severity prediction, and risk modeling.
• Develop predictive and prescriptive models using structured and unstructured claims data.
• Architect modeling approaches using gradient boosting, deep learning, NLP, and probabilistic modeling.
• Partner with AI Engineering teams to productionize models and integrate into enterprise platforms.
• Design feature engineering strategies and modeling pipelines for large datasets.
