Job summary

SupplyHouse.com is seeking a Principal Data Architect to define and drive our enterprise data architecture strategy. This role partners with executive leadership across IT, Engineering, Analytics, Security, and Product to ensure data is reliable, secure, governed, and positioned as a competitive advantage.

The ideal candidate will lead data platform direction, governance standards, and scalable architecture patterns enabling analytics, AI/ML, operational systems, and BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, Information Systems or related field is required.
• 10+ years in Data Engineering, Architecture, or Platform Engineering.
• 5+ years designing enterprise-scale cloud data architectures.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the enterprise data architecture strategy.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives with Engineering, Analytics, Security, and Product teams.
• Oversee data governance, security, lineage, and metadata practices.
• Architect data warehousing, lakehouse, streaming, and MDM solutions.
• Create analytics-ready datasets and models for reporting and AI/ML.
