Job summary

UKG is seeking a Principal, Data/Analytics and Benchmarking to shape the analytics foundation for enterprise planning and performance management. You will define metrics, gather data, build models and dashboards, and synthesize insights for executives.

You will partner with Finance, Enterprise Systems, and business leaders to ensure data quality, governance, and impactful recommendations across teams and products.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data analytics, data science, or related quantitative fields.
• Experience using external benchmarks to diagnose performance, identify drivers and gaps, and shape strategic recommendations.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and data querying, modeling, or visualization tools (SQL/Power BI/Tableau/Python).
• Ability to translate complex analyses into executive-ready presentations and concise written recommendations.
• Experience with SaaS and enterprise software or workforce technology metrics.
• MBA or advanced analytics degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define the data, analytics, and benchmarking roadmap for enterprise planning and transformation.
• Build analytical models, dashboards, and scorecards to reveal trends, drivers, and trade-offs for priorities and investments.
• Collaborate with Finance, Enterprise Systems, and functional teams to ensure data quality and governance.
• Translate complex analyses into executive-ready narratives and visuals for senior leaders.
