Job summary

Aprimo is seeking a Principal Consultant to join our Professional Services team. This role focuses on leading software implementations, driving services sales, and delivering delivery assurance across alliances.

You may act as the consultant, project manager, or both, adapting to project needs in a remote-capable environment. You will engage in pre-sales responses, define roadmaps and success metrics, and ensure alignment with customers’ business goals while coordinating global resources and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years implementing digital asset management, marketing ops, or related B2B software.
• 3+ years managing software implementation projects, including scope, schedule, budget and risk.
• Proposal and estimation development experience to sell business value.
• Enterprise software experience is a plus.
• Marketing/MarTech experience is a plus.
• Project management certification (PMP/PMI-ACP or similar) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to RFPs/RFIs and develop services estimates, proposals, and presentations.
• Lead solution visioning, define initial roadmap, scope and success metrics.
• Provide advisory services during implementation and delivery assurance.
• Build trusted advisor relationships aligning with customer goals.
• Serve as project manager, owning plan, schedule, milestones and dependencies.
• Lead kickoff, status updates, steering committee meetings, executive communications.
• Manage scope, budget and hours, and handle change control.
• Identify risks/issues/decisions and drive resolution.
• Coordinate customer, Aprimo and partner resources including onshore/offshore.
• Maintain documentation, forecasts and delivery reporting using Aprimo tools.
• Coordinate small teams to configure the application.
• Balance multiple projects; support customer success during transition.
• Support health checks and account recovery efforts when needed.
• Develop best practices, templates and delivery tools.
• Become certified on the Aprimo platform and related Marketing Services.
