Job summary

Remote-friendly role based in the U.S. with standard business hours; requires deep cloud mastery, governance, cost optimization, and hands-on delivery of enterprise cloud solutions across Banner Health's infrastructure.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
At least 15 years of software engineering and digital engineering experience, including 5+ years in cloud and microservices at scale.
Experience optimizing Kubernetes workloads on cloud and familiarity with AI development tools; proven leadership delivering enterprise solutions.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic oversight for multi-cloud architectures across Azure, AWS, and OCI.
Design and govern platform engineering services and automation tooling.
Lead cloud adoption, migrations, and governance in collaboration with IT and security.
Develop disaster recovery plans and ensure cloud resiliency and compliance.
Mentor cloud engineers and drive best practices and documentation.
