Job summary

Hire With Near is seeking a Pricing & Margin Analyst to own the end-to-end pricing for international shipments. You will build price cards from the sales queue, select carrier lines, and align with the China operations to confirm costs.

You will model non-standard setups and investigate margin gaps to tighten pricing with data-backed recommendations. The role requires strong Excel/Sheets skills, 7+ years in pricing or finance, and clear written/spoken English.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in pricing or financial analysis or similar field.
• Strong Excel/Sheets proficiency and unit economics modeling.
• Clear written and verbal communication for sales and China teams.

Responsibilities

• Build standard and custom price cards for deals from the sales queue.
• Determine carrier/line applicability, zones, weights, and surcharges.
• Join calls with Sales and China to confirm costs and feasibility.
• Model non-standard setups and large accounts with unusual profiles.
• Investigate margin gaps and recommend fixes, with math shown.
• Model seasonal surcharges and pricing scenarios for merchant pitches.
• Validate models against billing/shipment data and source data.
• Identify margin improvements in carrier mix and pricing structure.
• Flag deals not meeting targets; assist COO/leadership with decisions.
