Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Pricing Analyst II- Change Order & Modifications to join our remote team. You will prepare cost/price proposals of simple to medium complexity under supervision, applying CAS and FAR concepts.

The role emphasizes collaboration across Operations, Business Development and Support groups, building cost models and ensuring compliance with the Estimating System. US citizenship is required; 10–15% travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an associated discipline.
• Three (3) years’ experience in cost proposal preparation or cost proposal development; relevant finance experience may be considered for some years in lieu of cost proposal preparation and development
• US Citizenship is required to apply.

Responsibilities

• Interfaces with Operations, Business Development and Functional Support groups to obtain/develop data necessary for developing prices or other components of a cost/price volume
• Prepares cost/price volume responses for simple to medium complexity proposals
• Ensures compliance with the estimating system manual as well as other policies and procedures
• Performs quality assurance reviews to ensure that cost/price volume components are accurate and responsive to solicitation requirements
• Provides pricing guidance and support, as required, to field personnel performing pricing related activities
• Capable of building accurate cost models based on provided guidelines and requirements, as well as modifying and updating existing templates to meet specific objectives and desired outcomes
• Provide training and guidance to junior pricing team members as required while fostering collaboration with senior-level pricing professionals to ensure best practices and optimal outcomes
