Job summary

Vivant is a managed connectivity and network services company delivering reliable internet, phones, and Wi-Fi for multi-location businesses. The Presales Network Engineer owns the technical pre-sales process, translating client requirements into network solutions and coordinating cost analyses for proposals.

You’ll join client meetings initially and then shift to behind-the-scenes solution design, proposal prep, and technical sales support within a structured, repeatable process.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Experience supporting B2B sales.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Comfortable following structured processes.

Responsibilities

• Participate in discovery calls with sales.
• Match client requirements with standard network packages.
• Determine appropriate firewall, switches, WAPs, sizing and quantities.
• Coordinate cost analyses and ISP options.
• Prepare two to three solution proposals.
• Attend proposal review meetings and answer technical questions.
