Job summary

ProAssurance invites you to join its Eastern Alliance team in a field audit role supporting the workers' compensation line. The hybrid position reports to an Eastern Alliance office location about two times per month and requires travel up to 80% of the time, with a focus on larger accounts and efficient auditing.

You will select audit assignments, perform audits of insured operations, prepare numerical and written reports, and communicate results to underwriters and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, insurance or related field and at least one year premium audit experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to learn new software.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Select audit assignments and manage territory focusing on large accounts and efficiency.
• Conduct audits reviewing insured’s business operations and classify data.
• Maintain remote work capability with minimal supervision.
• Schedule audits, transmit reports, manage inventory.
• Assist management and train new staff as needed.
• Handle audit disputes and communicate results to customers.
