Job summary

Herzing University seeks a Director of Curriculum to lead the design, development, review, and continuous improvement of nursing curricula across all prelicensure programs. The role ensures rigor, accreditation alignment, and consistent implementation across delivery modalities.

The director supervises assigned personnel, coordinates curriculum strategy, maintains stakeholder communications, and advances faculty ownership of curriculum and assessment.

Qualifications

• Doctorate required (DNP/DNE/PhD) and RN licensure in primary state.
• 5+ years of professional nursing practice.
• 3+ years in nursing education, curriculum development, or program leadership in a programmatically accredited prelicensure nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Associate Directors of PN, ASN/BSN, and MSNDE curricula with clear expectations.
• Set curriculum strategy for each program track across sites and modalities.
• Establish structured communications to monitor implementation progress and alignment.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback on growth.
• Collaborate to develop and update curriculum policies and procedures for prelicensure nursing programs.
• Align course development and scheduling with instructional design and assessment goals.
• Represent Herzing University nursing curriculum with external partners and accreditation bodies.
