Job summary

Herzing University seeks a Director of Curriculum to lead the design, development, and assessment of prelicensure nursing curricula across programs. You will ensure alignment with accreditation standards and apply evidence-based practice across online and onsite delivery.

The role includes supervising associate directors, coordinating curriculum strategy, driving continuous improvement, and representing the university with accrediting bodies. Remote work within the United States is possible.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in nursing or related field required.
• Active RN licensure in state of primary employment with eligibility for others as needed.
• Minimum five years of professional nursing practice.
• Minimum three years in nursing education, curriculum development, or program leadership at prelicensure level.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Associate Directors of PN, ASN/BSN, and MSNDE Curriculum and provide clear direction.
• Set curriculum strategy and ensure consistent implementation across tracks, sites, and modalities.
• Maintain structured communication rhythms to monitor progress and alignment across programs.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate to update policies governing curriculum development and implementation across programs.
• Represent Herzing University nursing curriculum with accrediting bodies and external partners.
• Ensure student feedback informs curriculum development and revision processes.
