The role includes supervising senior curriculum staff, coordinating strategy across program tracks, and maintaining strong communication with faculty and external partners to support continuous improvement and student success.

Qualifications

Doctorate (DNP, DNE, or PhD) earned.
Active RN license in the state of primary employment, with eligibility for other states.
Minimum of five years of professional nursing practice.
Minimum of three years in nursing education, curriculum development, or program leadership in a post-secondary prelicensure program.
Experience supervising curriculum or program staff preferred.
Experience supporting accreditation self-study or site visit preferred.
Experience with online nursing program curriculum design and online delivery considerations preferred.

Responsibilities

Direct supervision of senior curriculum leadership, providing direction and development.
Set curriculum strategy for each program track and ensure consistent implementation.
Establish structured communication rhythms with Associate Directors.
Conduct regular performance evaluations for direct reports.
Ensure curriculum policies align with the university's mission and operations.
Collaborate with senior leaders on course development, exam proctoring, and resource planning.
Represent Herzing University nursing curriculum with external partners and accrediting bodies.
Oversee work with curriculum advisory committees and external experts.
Ensure student feedback informs curriculum development and revision.
