Job summary

Ruggable is seeking a detail-driven Pre-Production Print/Textile Designer to translate creative concepts into production-ready artwork for textiles. The role focuses on print design, size scaling, color accuracy, and production processes to ensure designs meet manufacturing requirements.

You will collaborate with textile design, product development, and production partners to optimize prints, scale across dimensions, and maintain high quality.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of textile design or pre-production experience with a strong portfolio.
• Expert-level Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite proficiency.
• Strong experience with layered files, overlays, textures, and distressing.
• Excellent organizational skills and calendar adherence.
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
• Interest in home textiles and rug design is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and finalize textile print files for production, including repeats and color setup.
• Scale designs accurately across multiple sizes while preserving proportions.
• Ensure accuracy of layered files and production-ready artwork.
• Support color consistency across digital to physical output.
• Review artwork against samples and production feedback.
• Organize files with version control and clear naming conventions.
• Manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and identify process improvements.
