Job summary

Service Corporation International is seeking a self-starting Pre-Planning Advisor to work with client families in the Indianapolis area. You will sell pre-need arrangements and services, meet quotas, and develop community relationships through events, referrals, and follow-ups.

Responsibilities include lead generation, building trusted relationships, and coordinating with funeral directors to provide compassionate, timely service. Nights and weekends may be required to achieve results.

Qualifications

• Sales experience or one to two years industry experience or equivalent education.
• CRM systems experience is a plus.
• Basic computer and technology skills within a sales environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead generation: network and build relationships to gain referrals for both at-need cemetery and pre-need arrangements.
• Prospect a minimum of 4 hours daily to approach families in person at events, door-to-door, or seminars.
• Obtain referrals from families served by the location and follow up through visits.
• Build community relationships and connect with families to understand needs and provide value.
• Present planning guides and educate families on the benefits of pre-planning.
• Support teamwork with funeral directors and staff to ensure seamless service.
