Responsibilities

• Verifies insurance benefits using an automated tool, payer sites, or by phone and notifies patient of out-of-pocket costs.
• Secures all necessary authorizations for Diagnostic, Surgical, Audiology and Rehabilitation visits.
• Organizes and prioritizes daily workload to ensure service levels are met.
• Answers calls and emails courteously, maintaining positive relationships with patients, payers, and staff.
• Participates in unit and hospital educational programs to maintain competency.
• Performs miscellaneous duties as needed.
