Job summary

RR Digital is seeking a hands-on PR Specialist to support a growing portfolio of legal, litigation, and advocacy clients. You will manage day-to-day earned-media work across multiple accounts, collaborating with PR leadership on positioning and priorities.

You will plan and execute campaigns around original research, data-driven stories, podcasts, newsletters, and digital publishers, coordinating with SEO, content, and social teams while distinguishing earned coverage from paid placements.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of hands-on PR/media relations experience, preferably in a fast-moving, multi-account environment.
• Demonstrated experience independently pitching media, following up, managing inquiries, and contributing to earned coverage.
• Excellent writing, editing, and news judgment; ability to translate technical or sensitive material into compelling stories.
• Strong organization and accountability: move multiple live campaigns forward with deadlines and approvals.
• Comfortable working with clients, subject-matter experts, journalists, and colleagues across functions.

Responsibilities

• Own the execution of assigned campaigns: briefs, materials, outlet lists, outreach, follow-up, reporting.
• Pitch journalists and editors with individualized angles and grow media relationships.
• Draft and edit press releases, pitches, attorney commentary, statements, interview briefs, and thought-leadership content.
• Identify proactive opportunities from breaking news, litigation developments, and trends.
• Support digital PR campaigns with original research, surveys, data-driven stories, and outreach sequencing.
