Qualifications

• 4+ years of public relations or communications experience, preferably at an agency.
• Experience with B2B technology, advertising, media, marketing or adtech clients.
• Strong media relations and storytelling skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day communications across a portfolio of B2B technology, advertising and media clients.
• Build trusted relationships with clients and serve as a reliable, strategic point of contact.
• Develop proactive media strategies, story angles and creative campaign ideas.
• Build and maintain relationships with reporters covering advertising, media, marketing, technology and business.
• Draft pitches, press releases, messaging, briefing materials, award submissions, speaking proposals and executive thought leadership.
• Lead media outreach and secure meaningful earned coverage.
• Prepare executives for interviews, panels and other external opportunities.
• Manage account timelines, priorities and deliverables across multiple workstreams.
• Monitor relevant news and industry trends to identify opportunities for clients.
• Collaborate closely with Purpose's senior leadership and support junior team members.
• Contribute to agency growth, culture and new-business initiatives.
