Job summary

Communications Strategy Group (CSG) is a Denver-based full-service intent marketing agency seeking a PR Associate to support media relations and influencer engagement for clients across education, health, consumer, aerospace and energy sectors. The role collaborates with account teams and across practices, crafting story angles, pitching media, coordinating interviews, and contributing to strategic plans.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in PR/media relations or strategic communications; agency experience preferred
• Experience writing pitch angles for the media and creating media lists
• Willingness to work across various industries as needed
• Ability to work confidently and independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; effective presentation skills
• Experience with AI platforms (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) in a business setting
• Experience with project management tools such as Asana, Basecamp, WorkFront

Responsibilities

• Serve as day-to-day PR support for multiple clients and develop creative story angles
• Conduct media relations activities including researching media lists, drafting pitches, and coordinating interviews
• Immerse in industries and client audiences to support senior team members in strategic plans
• Contribute to ideation and development of media relations strategies
• Write press releases for clients
• Track and report ROI based on client goals and media placements
