Job summary

Search Marketing Pros is seeking a hands-on PPC Specialist to support a Senior Paid Search Specialist in building, managing, and optimizing paid search programs for home services clients. The role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented and eager to grow into a more strategic PPC position.

You should have hands-on Google Ads experience and a curiosity about what drives high-quality leads, plus excitement about how AI is enhancing paid media.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of hands-on PPC experience (agency or in-house).
• Working knowledge of Google Ads, especially Search campaigns.
• Google Ads certification or ability to earn within 60 days.
• Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, lookups).
• Familiarity with GA4 and conversion tracking basics.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes.

Responsibilities

• Build and launch campaigns, ad groups, ads, and assets based on strategy.
• Implement daily and weekly optimizations (bids, budgets, keywords, ad copy).
• Review search term reports and manage negative keyword lists across accounts.
• Monitor account health, budget pacing, and performance daily.
• Pull data and prepare monthly performance reports for client meetings.
• Review call tracking data and reconcile ad platform data with CRM data.
• Join client calls and capture notes and actions.
