Job summary

Integrated Power Services seeks a Project Manager to lead PowerGuard projects from kickoff to closeout, coordinating customers, sales, operations, service, suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and quality. Remote, territory-based role with regular travel within Florida.

Strong financial acumen and excellent communication are required to manage budgets, milestones, and risk while maintaining safety and customer satisfaction across multiple concurrent initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, construction management, project management, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent relevant industry experience will be considered.
• Prior project management experience in power generation, electrical equipment, construction, industrial services or related field preferred.
• Experience managing multiple projects with schedule, cost, and execution responsibility.
• Strong financial understanding including budgets, revenue, margin, and forecasting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned projects from sales handoff through completion, invoicing, and closeout.
• Review project scope, specifications, proposals, contracts and customer expectations at kickoff.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and commitments.
• Serve as primary contact for customers with proactive status updates.
• Coordinate equipment, materials, subcontractors, freight, site requirements, startup and commissioning.
• Work with sales, service, operations, purchasing and admin to avoid delays.
• Monitor costs, revenue, gross margin, change orders, and milestones.
• Identify scope changes and ensure change orders are approved before work.
• Identify risks and develop action plans to keep schedules.
• Coordinate with manufacturers regarding equipment availability and delivery schedules.
• Maintain project documentation and communications; escalate critical issues.
• Coordinate turnover to service teams and ensure closeout documentation.
