Job summary
TALENT SHIFT is seeking an experienced Microsoft Power Platform Data Consultant for a remote contract with a global manufacturing client. You will help deliver automation initiatives, improve data quality across financial cycles, and leverage ALM, Dataverse, and AI Builder to build scalable solutions.
The role requires 5+ years in automation within regulated environments, 3+ years with Power Platform, SQL, Python, and Azure expertise, plus SOX/ITGC awareness. U.S. residency is mandatory.
Qualifications
- Experience delivering automations in regulated environments
- Proven ability to document solutions and runbooks
- Strong communication with senior finance leaders and non-technical stakeholders
- 3+ years with Microsoft Power Platform
- 3+ years SQL, Python, and Azure experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT/CS/Finance or related field
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy data-quality automation across close, consolidation, and financial reporting cycles
- Utilize Power Platform CoE Starter Kit, ALM, and environment strategy
- Create tables in Dataverse and predictive models with AI Builder
- Enhance Power BI dashboards for management reporting
- Schedule desktop flows with Power Automate
- Translate finance business challenges into technical solutions
