Job summary

Talent Shift, LLC is seeking an experienced Microsoft Power Platform Data Consultant for a fully remote, contract-based engagement with a global manufacturing client. The role focuses on delivering automation initiatives across data quality, reporting, and process optimization.

The candidate should bring 5+ years delivering automations in regulated environments, 3+ years with Power Platform, and strong SQL/Python/Azure skills, plus SOX/ITGC familiarity and excellent communication with finance

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in information technology, computer science, accounting, finance, or related field.
5+ years delivering automations in regulated environments.
3+ years with Microsoft Power Platform.
3+ years SQL, Python, and Azure services experience.
Familiarity with SOX/ITGC controls and audit evidence automation.
Strong documentation (design docs, user guides, runbooks).
Excellent communication with senior finance leaders and non-technical owners.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and deploy data-quality solutions across close, consolidation, and financial reporting cycles.
Utilize Power Platform CoE Starter Kit, ALM, and environment strategy.
Create tables using Dataverse and predictive models with AI Builder.
Enhance report dashboards using Power BI.
Schedule desktop flows using Power Automate.
Translate finance business challenges into technical solutions.
