Job summary

AMERICAN SYSTEMS in McLean, VA is hiring a Solution Architect to design enterprise Microsoft 365 solutions and lead Power Platform deployments. You will guide governance, security, and platform health across the tenant.

You will oversee Power Platform development, admin environments, data governance, and integration with Purview, SharePoint, and OneDrive to ensure scalable, compliant, and reliable cloud services.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status.
• Active Microsoft 365 and Power Platform certifications.
• Minimum 5 years supporting Microsoft 365 in large environments.
• Ability to pass federal background check and obtain Public Trust.
• Strong enterprise architecture and security governance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design and guide enterprise Microsoft 365 solutions for collaboration, automation, and service delivery.
• Serve as Power Platform Administrator across environments and licensing.
• Provide expert support for Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.
• Lead security, governance, and data protection efforts across platforms.
• Coordinate with security/compliance teams and support Purview and eDiscovery needs.
• Develop automation and scripting to improve platform operations and admin efficiency.
• Maintain architecture documentation, risk management, and stakeholder reporting.
