Job summary

Leidos Energy is seeking a Power Plant Subject Matter Expert (Electrical Engineer) to apply advanced knowledge in electrical design, construction, operation, and interconnection of power generation facilities and related contracts. The role involves collaboration with project managers during due diligence, and engagement with diverse clients.

The position is fully remote within the United States, with commuting distance to Denver, CO or Framingham, MA considered a plus, and offers opportunities

Qualifications

Electrical design, construction, operation and maintenance of power generation and substation assets.
Knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems, controls, and protection relaying.
Experience with client relations and working with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical design and interconnection reviews for power plant, substation, and transmission projects.
Attend project meetings to confirm status of site EIC construction and operation and maintenance.
Manage client engagements and maintain relationships with private equity, infrastructure, banks, and developers.
Present work product results and findings to client executives.
Support projects and project teams both independently and with colleagues.
