Job summary

WSP is seeking a Power & Energy Lifecycle Project Manager (Remote) for our Power & Energy Program Management Team in San Francisco, CA. The successful candidate may be based anywhere in the United States with preferred locations including Oregon, Northern California, Southern Idaho, Western Wyoming, and Utah.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or related field; equivalent experience in a technical/engineering firm.
• Working toward project management certification (e.g., PMP, CAP-M).
• 5+ years of relevant post-education experience in a project management role within the industry.
• Understanding of project delivery within A/E/C; background in project management.
• Analytical and organizational skills with business acumen to bridge business and PM.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for professional interactions.
• Self-leadership with attention to detail and multi-tasking in a dynamic environment.
• Proficient with QA/QC, MS Office suite, and PM tools.
• Ability to coordinate resources, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to policies.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Develop project proposals, cost estimates, scope, schedules, and resource plans.
• Create WBS tasks and estimated costs for projects.
• Maintain documentation in Risk, PMP, QP, PSP, and Communications plans.
• Lead project kickoff meetings with key stakeholders.
• Monitor project metrics, cash flow, and budget margins.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, and change control.
• Coordinate with managers on resource and subcontractor needs.
• Oversee subcontractors and supplier invoice processes.
• Escalate health & safety or client issues to senior PM staff.
• Provide regular client and management reporting.
