Job summary

Leidos Engineering seeks an experienced Project Manager to support transmission projects for a major electric utility client. You will coordinate Real Estate, Siting, Environmental, and Permitting activities, including land acquisition, easements, and ROW management.

Travel within the Carolinas is required while largely working remotely. The role reports to a Senior Project Manager and requires 8+ years in electric utility project management, with strong coordination and scheduling skills.

Qualifications

8+ years of demonstrated project management experience in electric utilities.
Bachelor's degree preferred, but relevant experience can be considered in lieu of degree.
Demonstrated experience managing scope, schedules, budgets, risks, milestones, and reporting.
Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and support execution of transmission projects through site & acquire phases.
Serve as central point of coordination across Real Estate, Survey, Engineering, Siting, Environmental, Permitting, Public Engagement, Legal, Project Controls and Finance.
Track land acquisition activities for substations, ROWs, and rights-of-way; monitor milestones and documentation.
Facilitate project meetings, status reviews, and reporting; support project controls and Primavera P6 updates.
Monitor scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, and acquisition progress to meet in-service dates.
Ensure environmental, permitting, compliance, and governance requirements are met.
