Job summary

Leidos Engineering is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Strategic Program Consulting team within Power Delivery Solutions. The PM will coordinate across Real Estate, Survey, Engineering, Siting, Environmental, Permitting, Legal and more to move transmission projects from siting through completion.

This largely remote role requires occasional travel to client sites in the Carolinas; initial portfolio includes six transmission projects (2 in SC, 4 in NC) with travel between

Qualifications

• 8+ years of project management in electric utilities.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Recent experience with electric transmission capital projects preferred.
• Familiarity with siting, land acquisition, easements, ROW, permitting and related activities.
• Ability to work with limited oversight under a Senior Project Manager.
• Strong organizational, communication, coordination and documentation skills.
• Primavera P6 familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support transmission projects through Site & Acquire phase.
• Serve as central point across Real Estate, Survey, Engineering, Siting, Environmental, Permitting and other stakeholders.
• Track milestones, surveys, title work, environmental, permitting, documentation and closings.
• Facilitate meetings, status reviews, issue resolution and reporting.
• Support schedules and milestones with Project Controls and Primavera P6.
• Monitor scope, schedule, budget, risks and acquisition progress.
• Coordinate environmental, permitting and governance requirements.
• Support funding requests, forecasting and change management.
• Maintain project documentation and turnover readiness to downstream teams.
• Conduct site visits and document relevant project/site information.
