Job summary

Leidos Engineering is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Strategic Program Consulting team within Power Delivery Solutions. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams to deliver transmission projects, including siting, land acquisition, and stakeholder engagement across the Carolinas.

Mostly remote with periodic travel to client sites in NC/SC; candidates should reside in NC or SC. Required: 8+ years in electric utility project management; Bachelor's preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of demonstrated project management experience in the electric utility industry.
• Bachelor's degree preferred, but relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Experience managing scope, schedules, budgets, risks, milestones, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support execution of transmission projects through Site & Acquire phase.
• Serve as central coordination point across Real Estate, Survey, Engineering and other stakeholders.
• Track land acquisition activities, surveys, title work, permitting, and close milestones.
• Facilitate project meetings, status reviews, and reporting.
• Maintain project schedules and milestones in coordination with Project Controls (Primavera P6).
• Monitor scope, schedule, budget, risks, and acquisition progress to ensure in-service dates.
• Coordinate environmental, permitting, compliance, and project governance requirements.
• Support funding requests, forecasting, risk assessments, change management, and reporting.
• Maintain project documentation and turnover deliverables; conduct site visits as needed.
