Job summary

Talan is seeking a Power BI & Python Web Developer for a 4-month remote contract. You will build interactive dashboards, develop backend services in Python, and integrate data from multiple sources using REST APIs and AWS Lambda. Strong data visualization with Power BI and SQL expertise are essential.

This role offers 100% remote work with a multicultural, international project scope. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end data solutions and adopt CI/CD practices

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience with Power BI, including dashboard development and data modeling.
• Experience in web development using Python, with backend and data processing.
• Experience designing, developing, and consuming REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda for serverless functions.
• Experience working with relational databases and SQL.
• Proficiency with Pandas and NumPy for data manipulation.
• Familiar with CI/CD practices and software development workflows.
• Advanced knowledge of Git and version control.
• Understanding of best practices for code quality and integration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Connect Power BI to multiple data sources including SQL databases and REST APIs.
• Develop web applications and backend services using Python.
• Create, consume, and maintain REST APIs for data access.
• Develop and maintain AWS Lambda functions for data processing.
• Process and transform data with Pandas/NumPy for reporting.
• Collaborate with teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Apply CI/CD and version control to ensure reliable deployments.
