Job summary

VIVA USA Inc. is seeking a Mid-Level Power Apps Developer for a fully remote contract to support our ongoing digital modernization initiatives.

The role focuses on programming, maintaining, and optimizing business processes using the Microsoft Power Platform, bridging manual workflows and cloud-based automation while ensuring secure cross-border data handling for client projects. You will design scalable tools to streamline regulatory compliance, license validations, and external data exchanges.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional application development experience.
• Minimum 2 years designing and deploying solutions with Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Familiarity with relational database design and data integration via APIs.
• JSON text manipulation and data processing experience.
• Basic understanding of client IT standards and security frameworks (DLP, etc.).
• Must pass standard criminal background screening.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain Power Automate flows and Power Apps to replace manual workflows.
• Build and support Canvas Apps for mobile/tablet use and Model-Driven Apps integrated with client portals.
• Configure Dataverse data models, relational tables, and business rules.
• Write Power Fx expressions and use JavaScript to enhance forms and triggers.
• Package and deploy assets through testing/UAT into live client environments.
