Fusion Academy, a fully accredited 1-to-1 private school for grades 5–12, seeks a California-based College and Post-Secondary Counselor to guide students through post-secondary planning, college options, applications, and financial planning. This role supports both college-bound and non-college-bound students and collaborates with the nationwide counseling team.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in post-secondary counseling, an advanced degree in school counseling or related field,

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in Post Secondary Counseling, College and Career Readiness, Educational Consulting, or Higher Ed and Admissions Counseling
• Advanced Degree (MA, MS, MEd, or higher) in School Counseling, Educational Psychology, Education, Mental Health Counseling, or related field
• Remote and virtual applicants eligible who reside in multiple states listed in the posting

Responsabilidades

• Provide dynamic 1:1 counseling and post-secondary preparation courses to students
• Mentor students in exploring post-secondary options and link goals to college pathways
• Read transcripts and guide college applications, essays, and financial planning resources
• Support both college-bound and non-college-bound students with career prep and resumes
• Collaborate with Nationwide Post Secondary Counseling team across Fusion campuses
