Job summary

The University of Kansas is seeking an AMS Grant Coordinator/Grant Officer to provide post-award research administration services in a client-focused environment. You will collaborate with PIs, units, and Shared Service Centers to monitor budgets, prepare reports, and communicate with sponsors.

This fully remote role primarily operates off-campus, with occasional in-person meetings such as trainings and PI meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required with relevant professional experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for post-award tasks.
• Excellent written communication and meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Analyze awards to ensure terms and conditions are met and report to PIs.
• Prepare monthly budget reports and forecast expenditures for award management.
• Maintain and reconcile accounting records for all awards in portfolio.
• Coordinate personnel and purchasing activities to align with award terms and cost standards.
• Meet with PIs regularly to update on financial status and progress.
