Jobrapido seeks an experienced Medical Coding/Education Specialist to perform coding audits, develop training, and support post-acute care documentation and reimbursement processes.

The role requires five years in medical coding, CCS or CPC certification, and strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS. You will collaborate with providers, operations, and IT to optimize EMR workflows and reduce denials.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of five years’ experience in medical coding.
• Certification required: CCS or CPC.
• Post-acute care experience (e.g., skilled nursing facilities) preferred.
• Proficient in ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS coding systems and guidelines.
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and coding software.

• Conduct regular coding audits and reviews for compliance and reimbursement.
• Develop and deliver educational materials and training on coding guidelines and documentation.
• Collaborate with providers and operations to clarify documentation and coding issues.
• Work with the technology team to optimize EMR processes and reduce denials.
• Stay updated on healthcare regulations and coding changes relevant to post-acute care.
• Review medical records to assign accurate codes using ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS.
• Identify errors through audits and recommend improvements.
• Create training for new providers and ongoing refresher sessions.
