Nava Public Benefit Corp. is seeking a Policy Strategist to translate policy into actionable system design for integrated eligibility platforms.

You will work across product, design, and engineering to ensure compliant, effective policy implementation supporting Medicaid-related workflows. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in policy analysis, strong research skills, and the ability to guide cross-functional teams in a remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of policy analysis experience
• Experience researching policy using statutes or agency guidance
• Ability to build and nurture relationships with internal and external partners
• Self-directed and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in policy contexts
• Understanding of public programs at multiple levels of government
• Ability to document research processes, findings, and recommendations clearly

Responsibilities

• Translate policy into system behavior, workflows, and user experiences.
• Identify regulatory constraints and propose solutions balancing compliance, user experience, and delivery needs.
• Create artifacts (policy briefs, decision frameworks, flows) to support decision-making.
• Support testing and validation of policy implementation (scenarios and edge cases).
