Job summary

Next Level Solutions is seeking a Policy Tech Lead to drive Duck Creek design and delivery for diverse insurance clients. You will mentor developers, lead architecture decisions, and liaise with clients to translate business needs into scalable Duck Creek solutions.

You will guide cross-functional teams, oversee ManuScript configurations, and ensure delivery timelines align with client strategies, while maintaining high-quality standards and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of industry experience, including 5+ years with Duck Creek products.
• Deep expertise in Duck Creek Policy Administration and/or Billing (Author, Express, Server, User Admin, TransACT).
• Hands-on experience with ManuScript configuration and inheritance structures.
• Experience with Duck Creek APIs, Duck Creek Anywhere, and Duck Creek Skins.
• Strong background in C# custom business objects and XML (or similar programming languages).
• Experience with Duck Creek tools such as Author (Fields, Pages, Forms, Tables) and debugging tools (TraceMonitor, ExampleUtil, Data Tester).
• Knowledge of Duck Creek Shredding including IDO.
• Solid experience with SQL Server, stored procedures, triggers, and related database objects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of custom Duck Creek solutions using ManuScript.
• Provide technical leadership to your development team, offering guidance and mentorship across the platform.
• Drive solution approvals, including requirements, architecture, and delivery timelines.
• Support project planning and ensure solutions align with long-term client strategies.
• Take ownership of customer issues and lead them through to resolution.
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment while elevating team capabilities.
• Partner with clients and internal teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
