Job summary

Next Level Solutions is seeking a Policy Tech Lead to guide Duck Creek design and delivery for insurance solutions. You will lead technical design, mentor developers, and collaborate directly with clients to translate business needs into scalable Duck Creek implementations.

Ideal candidates bring 6–10 years of industry experience, with 5+ years in Duck Creek, deep expertise in policy administration, and hands-on ManuScript, C#, and SQL Server.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of industry experience, including 5+ years with Duck Creek products.
• Deep expertise in Duck Creek Policy Administration and/or Billing (Author, Express, Server, User Admin, TransACT).
• Hands-on experience with ManuScript configuration and inheritance structures.
• Experience with Duck Creek tools such as Author (Fields, Pages, Forms, Tables) and debugging tools (TraceMonitor, ExampleUtil, Data Tester).
• Strong background in C# and XML or similar languages.
• Solid experience with SQL Server, stored procedures, triggers, and related DB objects.
• Understanding of Agile environments and full SDLC.
• Strong client communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Partner with clients and internal teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Lead the design and development of custom Duck Creek solutions using ManuScript
• Provide technical leadership to your development team, mentoring across the platform
• Drive solution approvals: requirements, architecture, and delivery timelines
• Support project planning and ensure solutions align with client strategies
• Take ownership of customer issues and lead them to resolution
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment and elevate team capabilities
