Job summary

WeaveGrid, a company accelerating the clean energy transition, seeks a policy and regulatory affairs leader to shape strategy for the assigned US region(s). You will work with leadership to guide regulatory engagement, craft comments for proceedings, and build essential alliances with regulators and industry stakeholders.

You will translate complex energy policy into actionable recommendations, support executive decisions, and travel as needed to represent the company at events and hearings.

Qualifications

• Experienced in energy policy, utility regulation, and grid modernization.
• Proven skills in regulatory writing and state legislative lobbying.
• Strong ability to translate policy into actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute policy and regulatory strategy for assigned US region(s).
• Build external alliances and relationships with stakeholders.
• Write and submit comments for utility regulatory proceedings.
• Attend conferences, workshops, and other convenings as a company representative.
• Research regulatory developments to inform business strategy (2–3 year outlook).
• Research state filings, policies, and market landscapes to support business development.
• Collaborate with other business units on cost-benefit analyses and program evaluation.
• Collaborate with business development to secure regulatory approvals.
• Create high-quality presentation materials for utility-client meetings.
• Identify opportunities for formal/informal influence in the industry and regulatory space.
