Job summary

EnergyHub is seeking a Manager, Policy and Regulatory Affairs to drive advocacy across federal and state levels, with a focus on Midwest markets. You will lead regulatory engagement and shape policy supporting demand flexibility and grid modernization.

The role requires deep energy policy experience and strong cross-functional collaboration. You will collaborate with Product Marketing and other teams to articulate positions, contribute to thought leadership, and help steer the company’s

Qualifications

BA/BS with 5–10 years in the energy sector; advanced degree a plus.
Experience with federal, statewide, and utility-led DER, demand-side management, or grid modernization initiatives.
Ability to draft regulatory comments and policy analysis.
Experience with state PUCs, legislators, or regulatory bodies, particularly in the Midwest.

Responsibilities

Accelerate EnergyHub’s growth through legislative, regulatory, and policy advocacy.
Lead engagement in public utility commissions and legislative sessions.
Develop and execute regulatory engagement strategies for central and eastern US, with Midwest focus.
Research regulatory developments and inform business strategy 2–3 years ahead.
Educate regulators on DERMS and demand flexibility in programs and rates.
Build relationships with regulators and energy officials to advance policy objectives.
Represent EnergyHub in EV program design and grid modernization discussions.
Coordinate with Product Marketing to craft thought leadership materials.
