Job summary

EnergyHub seeks a Manager, Policy and Regulatory Affairs to advance regulatory objectives and unlock demand flexibility value. You’ll lead utility commission engagements, shape policy, and translate product vision into regulatory programs. Collaboration with multiple teams drives strategy through 2–3 year outlooks.

You’ll engage with state and federal officials, advocate for DERMS, and help guide energy storage and rate design initiatives while coordinating thought leadership across the company.

Qualifications

• BA/BS with 5–10 years in energy sector; JD/MPA or advanced degree a plus.
• Familiarity with electricity industry, utility business models, and stakeholder landscape.
• Experience with federal, state, and utility-led DER, demand-side management, or grid modernization.
• Ability to draft regulatory comments, blogs, and customer-facing content; analytical writing.
• Experience engaging regulators and shaping policy and rate cases.

Responsibilities

• Accelerate EnergyHub’s growth through legislative, regulatory, and policy advocacy.
• Lead engagement in public utility commission proceedings and legislative sessions.
• Develop and execute regulatory engagement strategies for key U.S. regions.
• Educate regulators on the role of software and DERMS in demand flexibility.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, and stakeholders to shape policy positions.
