Job summary

Mountain Ltd. is seeking a Pole Attachment/QC Specialist to work remotely supporting PST hours. You will oversee permitting and joint-use activities, QC permits, and correct missing elements. The role requires coordinating with municipalities, state agencies, and pole owners to avoid delays.

You will mentor junior permitting staff and ensure submissions meet NESC and owner requirements, while communicating risks and timelines to leadership. Join a legacy of engineering excellence since 1979.

Qualifications

  • Experience with pole attachments and permitting processes.
  • Familiarity with NESC and owner-specific requirements preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategies for railroads and crossings, DOTs, bridges, and high-risk pole attachment requests.
  • Negotiate with municipalities, state agencies, and pole owners to resolve escalated or disputed applications.
  • Ensure alignment between permitting, joint use, engineering, and construction to avoid redesigns or delays.
  • Train and mentor junior permitting staff.
  • Ensure joint use submissions meet NESC and owner-specific requirements.
  • Communicate risks, bottlenecks, and timelines to leadership on an ongoing basis.
