Job summary

Five Star Nursing is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to support a college counseling center at a CUNY campus in Staten Island, NY. This is a flexible, very low-hours opportunity designed for a PMHNP seeking supplemental or moonlighting work.

The NP will provide psychiatric med evaluations and ongoing medication management for college students already in counseling. Telehealth is primary; occasional on-campus visits may occur if appropriate.

Qualifications

• Active New York RN license and NP license.
• PMHNP certification and DEA registration.
• Minimum three years of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric medication evaluations.
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications.
• Provide follow-up medication management.
• Document services per standards.
