Job summary

Talkiatry is a clinician-led, virtual psychiatry practice delivering outpatient care with full operational support and no inpatient responsibilities.

We seek PMHNPs with at least 3 years of post-graduate experience, an active license, and comfort with telepsychiatry, comprehensive evaluations, treatment planning, and medication management. Remote scheduling and cross-disciplinary collaboration are core.

Qualifications

• Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with an active, unrestricted license.
• Minimum of 3 years post-graduate clinical experience as a PMHNP.
• Experience delivering outpatient psychiatric care including evaluations, treatment planning and medication management.
• Psychoeducation and supportive therapy.
• Comfort practicing in a fully remote telepsychiatry model.
• Proficiency using electronic medical records to document care accurately.

Responsibilities

• 100% remote, outpatient psychiatric care.
• Lower to moderate acuity populations (e.g., anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, PTSD).
• Standard session lengths (60-minute intakes, 30-minute follow-ups).
• Integrated in-house referral network and full operational support (scheduling, billing, intake, licensing).
• Clinical autonomy with schedule control and clinical decision-making.
