Job summary

Rula is seeking licensed PMHNPs to join its network as independent contractors. The position supports telehealth psychiatry in California with flexible scheduling and administrative assistance for credentialing, billing, and marketing.

You will perform psychiatric evaluations, create treatment plans, and manage medication for patients. The role emphasizes high-volume, high-acuity care with robust support and risk management.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted license and valid DEA number registered in California.
• 1+ years as PMHNP with mental health assessment, diagnosis, triage, and treatment planning.
• Independent licensure or collaboration with MD as required by state law.
• PMHNP certification by ANCC and PMHNP-BC or PMHNP-C by AANPCB.
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in PMH Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessments including psychiatric workups and treatment planning with medication management.
• Care for patients with depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction.
• Utilize EHR & telehealth platform and maintain detailed records.
• Receive support from Care Coordination teams and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
• Idle time with patients managed to ensure 30 min follow-ups and 60 min initial visits.
