Job summary
Thriveworks is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide evening and weekend telehealth services in the District of Columbia. You will assess and treat adults and adolescents, with prescribing authority and a focus on patient-centered care.
The role requires a licensed PMHNP with board certification, DC prescriptive authority, and about 1 year of psychiatry experience. It is a fully remote position with flexible scheduling and comprehensive benefits.
Qualifications
- Licensed PMHNP with board certification.
- Master's in Nursing with active prescriptive authority.
- 1 year psychiatry experience required; 3 years overall preferred.
- Must be licensed in the practicing state (DC).
Responsibilities
- Make psychiatric assessments and evaluations via telemedicine.
- Treat clients aged 14 years and up.
- Prescribe medications to alleviate symptoms as needed.
- Create and collaborate on care plans with clients.
- Complete and administer relevant paperwork and assessment tools.
- Adhere to Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines.
- Consult with Regional Clinic Directors on cases and programs.
