Job summary

Thriveworks is actively seeking licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners to provide evening and weekend telehealth sessions in Washington, DC. Clinicians must be licensed in their practicing state and work as part-time W2 staff in a fee-for-service model.

Responsibilities include psychiatric assessments, prescribing when appropriate, and collaborating on care plans while completing necessary paperwork.

Qualifications

• Licensed PMHNP with board certification is required.
• Master's in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the practicing state.
• 1 year of psychiatry practice required; 3 years preferred.
• Licensed and living in the state where practicing is required.
• Part-time availability of 15 hours per week in evenings or weekends.
• In-house ADHD treatment standards training completed.

Responsibilities

• Make psychiatric assessments and evaluations via telemedicine.
• Treat patients aged 14+ and prescribe medications as needed.
• Create and collaborate on care plans with clients.
• Complete required paperwork and assessment tools.
• Adhere to Thriveworks Clinical Practice Guidelines.
• Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff as needed.
