Job summary
Thriveworks is currently seeking Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners to join our DC team. Licensed PMHNPs with prescriptive authority are needed to provide telemedicine assessments and prescribe medications as appropriate for adults and adolescents in a fully remote capacity.
New clinicians will follow Thriveworks' clinical guidelines and collaborate with regional directors while offering flexible scheduling across 7 am–10 pm, seven days a week, and participating in ADHD treatment
Qualifications
- Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with board certification
- Master’s in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the state
- Experience with AdvancedMD EMR is a plus
Responsibilities
- Make psychiatric assessments and evaluations via telemedicine
- Willingness to treat patients aged 14 and up
- Prescribe medication to reduce mental health symptoms as needed
- Create and collaborate on care plans with clients
- Complete and administer paperwork and assessment tools
- Adhere to Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines
- Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff on clients and services
