Job summary

MCPHS School of Nursing seeks a didactic adjunct faculty member to deliver high-quality online instruction for the Graduate Nursing PMHNP program. The role focuses on remote didactic course delivery, using synchronous and asynchronous formats to foster engaged learning.

You will maintain an approved syllabus, advise students during office hours via video, phone or email, and use the LMS for content, grading, and communication, while staying current with nursing education standards.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing required.
• Massachusetts APRN license active and unencumbered.
• Minimum 1 year of PMHNP practice.
• Higher education teaching experience preferred.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. MCPHS cannot sponsor visas.

Responsibilities

• Deliver didactic instruction via synchronous and asynchronous online formats.
• Provide engaging content and assignments reflecting real-world nursing concepts.
• Advises and assists students through office hours, video, phone, or email.
• Utilize the LMS for content, assignments, grading, and communication.
• Maintain an approved syllabus aligned with School of Nursing policies.
• Collaborate with course coordinators and clinical faculty to monitor progress.
• Support student remediation and provide feedback to core faculty.
