Qualifications

  • Current unencumbered MA APRN license.
  • Current nurse practitioner national certification.
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
  • Commitment to graduate and/or professional education and student success.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and interact with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Delivers remote clinical supervision to students in the graduate nursing program.
  • Completes assessments, evaluations and documentation in a timely manner.
  • Facilitates synchronous student seminars per course requirements.
  • Advises and assists students through scheduled office hours or appointments by video, phone or email.
  • Keeps current knowledge of MCPHS SON curriculum to update teaching content.
