Job summary

AIT seeks a PLC Electro-Mechanical Engineer to support aerospace production systems at customer sites in Everett, WA. You will maintain, diagnose, and repair PLCs and electro-mechanical assemblies, applying CI methods to improve equipment reliability.

Ideal candidates have a related degree and 3+ years PLC/HMI experience, with strong electrical/mechanical knowledge and the ability to read schematics and troubleshoot complex systems.

Qualifications

  • Three or more years in PLC and HMI configuration and programming; control circuit analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Proficient with electrical/electronic components and diagnostic instrumentation.
  • Able to read blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams; hydraulics and pneumatics understanding.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, test, and repair PLCs, electrical/electro-mechanical systems and components.
  • Support production and plant equipment at customer sites with safety compliance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, NCs, power supplies, drives, and related test equipment.
  • Read wiring diagrams, specifications, and instructions for repair and installation work.
  • Interface with other departments to meet processing/manufacturing requirements.
